Enfield autumn includes exercise through recreation

The Recreation Division of Enfield has multiple recreational exercise programs lined up for autumn. Interested parties can visit the Recreation Office or go online for more information.

A basketball program is available for adults age 40 and older each Saturday from 8:00 am until 11:00 am, starting this Sunday (October 5) and continuing until June 13. Participants will meet at the gym in the Angelo Lamagna Activity Center. They must have a filed waiver, and proof of residency and age. The cost per day is $4 for nonresidents and $3 for residents.

Swim lessons are available for youth, toddlers, and infants every Saturday from this weekend until November 9 at the Enfield Annex pool. Only residents of Enfield may attend.

Starting October 15, the adult yoga class will meet at Parkman School at 6:15 pm to 7:30 pm every Tuesday until December 3. Registration, which is required before the start date, costs $37.50 for non-residents and $35 for residents. It is suggested that attendees bring their own mat.

Adults can play pickleball from October 16 until May 8 at the Enfield Annex gym. The gym will be open for the sport on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:00 am until 12:00 noon. Participants must sign a waiver and have proof of their age and where they live. The cost per day is $4 for nonresidents and $3 for residents.

Brochure printing can be used to inform residents of activities held by their community that they can participate in.
