Enfield annual market set for summer return returns

Enfield Community & Farmers’ Market is due to come back to the area this July, held every Wednesday afternoon to evening.

There will be plenty of free parking for customers of the market located near the Freshwater Pond in Thompsonville. This is the third year it has been open, and it closes around the same time of the Fall-O-Ween Festival, which is also coming back for its third year in Enfield.

Shaker Farm's Rick Willet likes how he and other sellers can sell goods that cannot be found at the local store. He also loves to get to know other vendors and go to their booths. He joked however that his goat, Faith, which is the mascot for the event, does not like it as much. Willet admitted that it takes 30 minutes to catch her.

Falcetti Music's Bruce Yelle said he comes for the music, stating it cheers up the town and is a reason for the community to congregate.

Vendors bring produce, crafts, and other goods from the state each year. Nonprofits also have booths.

Print services can make merchandise for vendors and nonprofits to sell or give away at the market. They could also have a booth or hand out promotional Flyers for their business.

It will run from July 13 until October 12 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Vendors will set up an hour before.
