‘Pen to Profit: The Ultimate Writer’s Conference’ will be happening in Windsor Locks in April.
All would-be authors are invited, including anyone who just has an idea but is unsure how to start writing, and writers that have finished their first novel but need help on how to get published.
Hosted by, ‘TheCEOWife’, Tamara Mitchell-Davis, the conference will be a two-day event including learning sessions, and a formal, ‘Author Gala’ with dinner and dancing on Saturday evening. Learning session topics will include:
- Understanding the writing process
- How to edit your novel
- Effective time management
- Representing yourself and building your brand
- Understanding the publishing process
- Basic business building skills
Tickets prices range from $79 to $349. VIP ticket holders will receive a conference T-shirt and loot bag, a ticket to the Friday evening Mastermind class, complimentary Saturday morning breakfast, a book jacket headshot by a professional photographer, and access to all the conference learning sessions and activities.
