Brewfest fizzes into Enfield

Beer lovers can rejoice later this month, as the Brewers Guild Brewfest comes to Ski Sundown for its 6th annual event.

Brewfest will feature tastes for enthusiasts and connoisseurs alike, and the experience will give attendees access to a wide range of flavors. It hosts breweries and brewpubs from the Connecticut area and other places in New England, thus supporting local industry.

For visitors interested in trying tons of local flavors, Enfield is the place to be. Some of the microbrewers in attendance are Harpoon Brewery, Back East Brewing, City Steam Brewery, Thomas Hooker Brewery, Otter Creek Brewing, Half Full Brewery, and Boston Beer.

For those lovers of live music, The Colbys will play while visitors sip on finely crafted beer. Dishes and snacks from Ski Sundown’s grill will be available, and the venue will also provide free parking (first come, first serve) for guests.

The event will be held on June 22 at 4:00 pm, rain or shine, and tickets cost $25 in advance, $30 at the door, and $20 for a dedicated designated driver. Photo identification will be required to attend the event, which will be at Ski Sundown.
