The Hartford Audubon Society will meet in Enfield and other parts of the Hartford area for February activities.
The Boat Launch Tour for Hartford County will begin at the Donald Barnes Boat Launch. The address is 12 South River Street. The group will travel to seven other boat launches along the way to Rocky Hill.

Later in the month, the organization will visit Beginners Bird Walk #3 at Station 43. It is one of four novice trails at the organization's oldest preserve. Guests can expect to spend three hours to cover the 2.5-mile trail. Though an easy walk on level terrain, there might be some ice or standing water.

Founded in 1909, the Hartford Audubon Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating the community about local wild birds and advocating for the conservation of their habitat. The Society has monthly meetings and regular outings to sanctuaries and local parks to practice bird watching.
The boat launch will take place on February 7 and the trip to Station 43 is on February 27. Both events will go from 8:00 am to noon.
