Many runners here in Westminster are getting in shape to compete in the Erin Go Bragh 7.77k coming in mid-March.
Pre-registration is $43 until February 28, $48 from March 1 to March 10, and $58 until race day. Swag will include light and medium green T-Shirts featuring the Run For Luck and event graphic design.
Lucky Charms will be waiting at the finish line, and runners are encouraged to dress in their Irish best so they may be entered in the costume contest. Post-race activities will include a dance party.
Growing Home is partnering with the Erin Go Bragh. This local charity helps families connect with community resources, offering long-term access to food, childcare, and affordable housing. An in-person donation and food drive will take place at the event. Names of participants donating five or more items will be entered into a raffle, where prizes have been donated by race sponsors including 3W Races. Those donating $100 or more at the event website will receive free entry to the race and 50% off registration for a friend.
Racers may also bring any lightly worn sneakers, trainers, or athletic shoes to donate to Sneakers4Funds. These shoes will go to people in developing nations. Money received from this will go to Growing Home.
The Erin Go Bragh 7.77k is scheduled for 9:30 am Saturday, March 11 at Promenade Terrace, 10600 Westminster Boulevard.
