More than 60 downtown restaurants will be competing for Denver's Top Taco accolades - or G.O.A.T, Greatest of All Tacos - in late June.
The competing eateries will serve gourmet tacos to visitors who vote for their favorite. There will be no limit to the number of full-size tacos per person. More than 50 mezcal brands and tequila samples will include signature cocktails, Pepsi products and Modelo. Water stations will be located throughout the venue.
Other activities besides eating will include Lucha Libre wrestling, live music and goat petting.
General admission for 7:00 pm entry will be $99 plus tax; First Taste for 6:00 pm entry will be $129 plus tax, and VIP admission for the 6:00 pm entry will cost $179 plus tax. Along with the early entry, the VIP tickets will include premium spirits tasting, cocktails, live entertainment and access to the Asada BBQ Showdown. The Showdown will feature eight top grill masters competing for the best BBQ tacos, cooking demonstrations, and exclusive dishes.
Proceeds will go to benefit NMAA, The North Metro Arts Alliance and Growing Home. Growing Home is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating healthy and thriving opportunities for families needing a helping hand in the North Denver metro area.
Restaurants that take part in culinary events like this often resort to using paper products that have their Logo Design printed at local Print shops.
Top Taco will take place June 25th around 5453 W 88th Avenue in downtown Westminster.
