Many runners here in Westminster will be running in the Erin Go Bragh 7.7k coming in mid-March.
The course will be on Big Dry Creek. Dogs may run with their owners and the race organizers encourage leprechaun costumes for both humans and canines. Registration will be $47 with discounts for groups and teams.
This year's charity will be Sneakers4Funds, and attendees are asked to bring gently worn or new running shoes or sneakers to the race site. Race attendees are asked to bring five or more items that will be donated to Growing Home.
Late packet pick-up and onsite registration will be from 8:30 am to 9:30 am. Costume contests will run from 9:15 am to 9:20 am. The race will begin at 9:30 am with overall awards announced at 10:15 am. Age group awards will be announced at 10:35 am.
Sponsorships are available and will include 12' x 12' booth space at the Expo, the option to place items in the 450 goody Bags, and a mention in racer emails, the event webpage, and social media. Sponsors that donate to goodie Bags often place their logo on some of the Promotional Products within them.
The start and finish line for the Erin Go Bragh 7.7k will be at Westminster Promenade Terrace, 10600 Westminster Boulevard, and the event will take place on Saturday, March 15.
