Westminster runners will be heading to the Pioneer Prairie Dag Half Marathon, 10k and 5k coming in late September.
Registration will be $75 for the Half Marathon, $45 for the 10k and $35 for the 5k until the end of August. The day before the race prices will be $80 for the Half Marathon, $50 for the 10k and $40 for the 5k, and will go up $10 on race day.
Swag will include event T-Shirts, chip timing, Pint Glasses and free photo downloads, and those completing the Half Maranon will receive finisher medals.
Race packets will be available on Friday, September 26th for 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Road Runner Sports Westminster, 10442 Town Center Drive, #300.
Same day registration will be from 7:00 am to 8:00 am. An expo will run from 7:30 am to 11:30 am and the Kids Dash will begin at 7:45 am. The Half Marathon will begin at 8:00 am followed by the 5k and 10k starts at 8:30 am.
Growing Home will be collecting gently used and new athletic shoes and accepting canned tuna, cereal, cooking oil, bullion and dry pinto beans. Those donating five or more food items will be entered into a raffle.
Those wishing to support a race and its charities often get flyer printing done at local Print shops and place Flyers around town.
The Pioneer Prairie Dog Half Marathon will take place Saturday, September 27th, at Westminster Promenade Terrace, 10600 Westminster Boulevard.
