Westminster, Colorado has an upcoming art walk planned for early May.
The art walk is set to feature more than 30 artists from the local area, who will have a wide variety of work in many styles and media. The event will also have items available for gifting that were handmade by some of the artists.
The event is free for people to attend. The Aar River Gallery is located at 3707 W. 73rd Ave. Westminster, Co. This is where a majority of the work will be, with some in the surrounding area. The gallery, as well as the event, are both located in the city’s art district.
This walk is an opportunity for the artists involved to get their work out there. Business Cards printed with each artist’s Logo Design are something often used at events like this have. With these, attendees can find an artist they love later, or recommend them to their family and friends.
In addition to the varied styles and media, the art will be in different sizes and will be available at a range of prices. Items featured in past art walks include purses, scarves, plates, and jewelry. Previous years have also included group painting sessions, although it is currently unclear if that will be available this year.
The event is scheduled to take place on May 8, from noon to 5:00 pm.
