St. Patrick’s Day is always a day of “wearin’ o’ the green” and partying. This year, Westminster will certainly do its share with three events scheduled.
From Tuesday, March 14 at 10:00 am to Sunday, March 19th at 7:00 pm, The Kokopelli Beer Company, 8931 Harlan Street will host a Happy St. Patrick’s Day Celebration. A special menu is being planned and the venue will have a seasonal beer release.
The Establishment at Bradburn Village, 11885 Bradburn Boulevard, will have a St. Patrick’s Day Party from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm on Friday, March 17. Wick Irish School of Dance will perform and DJ Howe Eventful will have everyone on the dancefloor.
Stationery printers often use pictures of Irish dancers for their St. Patrick’s Day cards.
Irish slammers (two parts Irish whiskey and one-part Irish cream mixture dropped into a Guinness beer) and green beer will be featured. Guests are encouraged to wear green and gold. Prizes will be awarded during the night to those who can find gold coins throughout the venue.
Tickets are $20 online and $25 at the door.
Beginning at 7:00 pm, the March 17 Odde’s Music Grill, 9975 Wadsworth Parkway will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with OG Big Paddy (Sean Gaughan) and Jon Sherman.
Special drinks will be served along with Chris’s Corned Beef Special. Live Irish music will begin at 8:00 pm. Tickets will cost $10.
