Snakes, which are all too often misunderstood creatures, will take pride of place during a upcoming Westminster event.
Standley Lake Park will serve as the location for School of Snakes, which is an activity designed to help people learn about and develop an appreciation of these animals. There will be a discussion of their role in the ecosystem and how they benefit people every day by eating insects, rodents and other pests. There will also be games, and other fun that will also serve as learning opportunities for the participants.
This family friendly event is open to everyone, but the organizers have requested that children be accompanied by an adult. Betty the bull snake will be on hand for the kids and their parents too see and touch. Only 15 spaces are available, and those who are interested have been asked to register ahead of time to make sure they have a spot. Flyers to promote a local educational activity such as this can be both designed and printed by a local printings services provider.
This morning that will be dedicated to showcasing snakes and all they can do, will be held on August 12 in Standley Lake Regional Park, and no admission fee is being charged to participate. It will run for one hour, and additional details, for anyone who needs them, can be found on the city’s website.Get a Free Quote for Flyers
