The 13th Annual Dog Days 5k, 10k and Half Marathon will take place here in Westminster.
This mid-season challenge will take runners and their dogs on the scenic Big Dry Creek Trail with beautiful views of the Flatirons.
Pictures taken of dogs and their humans at events like this often go to local Print shops to be added to family Calendars and newsletters.
Early registration for the Half Marathon will be $80.50, the 10k will cost $59.30 and the 5k will cost $48.70. Virtual runs are also available.
Swag includes finisher medals for all races, fit-specific poly race shirts, repeat finisher brag tags, souvenir racing bibs, and custom distance stickers to put on water bottles or cars. Other perks include free race picture downloads, disposable timing chips, and bagels, breakfast burritos, chocolate milk and fruit at the finish line. The event will provide plenty of toilets, medical support, aid stations and electronic results.
Awards will go to the top three human finishers in overall and age divisions. A special dog division will have prizes for the three fastest pooches at each distance and a pup-themed costume contest.
The Half Marathon will begin at 7:00 am followed by the 10k at 7:30 am and the 5k at 7:40 am.
Proceeds will go to Lifeline Puppy Rescue, a 100% no-kill puppy rescue service.
All-Out Dog Days will be on Saturday, July 12th beginning at 10170 Church Ranch Way.
