Holidays are coming and many here in Westminster will be getting ready starting in November.
Getting a jump on seasonal gift buying, many will be attending the annual Holiday Craft Show. Over 60 local artisans will be selling unique, handmade, and one-of-a-kind items. Admission will be free. The Holiday Craft Show will be from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at the MAC, 3295 W 72nd Ave., on Saturday, November 4th.
Another holiday shopping event on the same day will be the Holiday Pottery Sale. Pottery hand-crafted by City Park Pottery Studio staff and students will be available for sale at the City Park Recreation Center, 10455 Sheridan Boulevard, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, November 4th. Although admission will be free, everyone is to bring a non-perishable food item that will be donated to the Westminster Food Bank.
Vendors at holiday events such as these often slip custom Business Cards featuring reindeer, snowmen, Christmas trees and elves in with purchases.
Little ones may enjoy hot chocolate, crafts and activities while waiting to see Santa. Parents must bring their own cameras to take pictures.
Pictures taken early in the season at events like this can go to local Stationery printers to become custom Holiday Cards for the current year.
Santa will be coming to West View Recreation Center on Saturday, November 18th from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Although the event will be free, registration will be required.
