Good-natured Westminster pooches have been invited to the 13th annual All-Out Dog Days 5K, 10K & Half Marathon coming in early August.
Dogs and their owners will be running a 5k, 10k or half marathon along the Big Dry Creek Trail.
A special dog division will present medals, awards and prizes to the top 3 finishing dogs for each race, and to winners in the dog-themed costume contest.
Registration for the half marathon will be $80 plus $8.50 processing fee, $60 for the 10K plus a $4.50 processing fee and $50 for the 5K plus a $4 processing fee.
Swag will include cotton/poly race shirts, finisher medals, brag tags, personalized souvenir race bibs, custom distance stickers, and free race pictures that may be downloaded. Amenities will include disposable timing ships, electronic results, a gear check and lost and found, medical support at the start/finish line, plenty of aid stations along the course, and a post-race meal of breakfast burritos, bagels, fruit and chocolate milk.
Proceeds will go to Lifeline Puppy Rescue, a 100% no kill shelter.
Racing events like this often have banner printing done at local Print shops and display the large Banners at their start/finish lines.
The event will begin on Saturday, August 9th at 10170 Church Ranch Way with registration and packet pick-up at 6:15 am. The half marathon will begin at 7:00 am followed by the 10k at 7:30 am. The 5k will start at 7:40 am.
