Westminster's Run Amok Spring Series will hold its All-Out Beat the Heat race next month.
Distances will be Half Marathon ($75 registration fee), 10K ($55) and 5K ($45). The Half Marathon will start at 8:00am with the 10K following at 8:30am, and the 5K at 8:40am.
Swag will include pink, gray or black T-Shirts sporting the events graphic design, free race pictures, post-race meal, and entrance into the costume contest.
The out-and back course will begin in Church Ranch Office Park, 10170 Church Ranch Way and athletes in the Half Marathon will head toward Standley Lake Regional Park on Big Dry Creek Trail going west. After leaving the park participants will turn around at the south trailhead, return to the Dry Creek Trail and race back to the starting line. The 5K runners will run the out-and-back course turning around at the 1.55 mark while the 10K athletes will run the course out to the 3.1-mile marker and turn around.
Race packets will be available at Road Runner Sports, 10442 Town Center Drive from 4:30pm to 6:30pm on Thursday, April 11th and on race day beginning at 7:15am at the start line.
The 5k awards ceremony will begin at 9:15am followed by the 10k and Half Overall awards at 9:45am and the Half Marathon division awards at 10:15am.
Beat the Heat will be April 13th.
