DiningOut Denver, an appendage of DiningOut Magazine, will once again present its Denver Taco Championships festival near the end of June. Known as Top Taco, the over-21 event will take place here in Westminster.
Attendees will have access to unlimited taco tastings from more than 50 Denver eateries, and some of the city’s best restaurants will be mixing their signature tequila cocktails. Festival guests will be voting for top creative, traditional, and vegetarian tacos, and top cocktail. Live music performances will be on five stages, an entire tent will be designated for just mezcal tasting, and there will be a tequila lounge.
Restaurants that participate in events such as this often have pictures taken during the event. These photos often go to local Print shops to become part of their advertising campaigns.
General admission will be $89 with 7:00 pm entry and includes unlimited tastings and craft cocktails. First taste tickets at $119 will come with 6:00 pm entry. The last ticket, the $169 VIP ticket, will include entry at 6:00 pm and a private tasting competition with eight renown Denver chefs vying for “Best Dish.” These tickets will also include unlimited seltzers, beer, wine, and top bartenders mixing innovative cocktails.
Water stations will be available throughout the venue. Guests are advised to bring rain gear or wear layers as this event will happen rain or shine.
Top Taco is scheduled for Thursday, June 23 in Downtown Westminster’s Center Park, 8925 Fenton Street.
