Santa will be the main feature at four Christmas events starting in mid-November.
Santa will be coming to West View Recreation Center at 10747 W 108th Avenue. Families may take their own pictures with Santa, enjoy hot chocolate, crafts, and other activities. The event will be free and takes place Saturday, November 19 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.
HomeTown Christmas, presented by the Westminster Historical Society, will be the lighting of the tallest living Christmas tree in Colorado. Guests can enjoy carol singers, vendors, and a visit with the Old Elf himself.
Free HomeTown Christmas will take place Friday, December 2 from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm in Fireman’s Park, at Bradburn Blvd and 73rd Avenue.
SCL Heath will present the Holiday Lighting Ceremony at Westminster City Hall. The free event will be replete with the tree lighting, holiday music, food vendors, carnival games, and Santa. A kid-size train and a full-size sleigh will be available for family photos. Photos taken this early in the season can be taken to local Stationery printers in time to become personalized Christmas cards.
The Holiday Lighting Ceremony will be held Saturday, December 3 from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
Little ones can see St. Nick at Santa on the Plaza at Westminster City Hall Plaza, 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Saturday, December 10 and 17. Westminster 7:10 Rotary Club will be hosting this event. Families can take their own photos at the kid-size train and full-size sleigh.
