The Parent Possible Home Visiting Conference 2019 will take place in the spring in Westminster, with a line-up of interactive and informative sessions.
The conference provides specialized training and development along with networking opportunities for parents who also play the role of teachers for home instruction. The conference will present topics of interest such as best practices and resources for home visitors, health, safety and wellness, and innovative strategies for new programs.
Parents as Teachers (PAT) and Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters (HIPPY) are encouraged to attend this dynamic and educational conference. The conference subject matter is also relevant for educators, supervisors and home visitors.
A block of rooms for out-of-town guests has been reserved at the Westin Westminster Hotel, located at 10600 Westminster Blvd., at a conference discounted rate. Upon registration, a link will be provided to book a room at the special price. The discounted rate will be in effect up until three weeks prior to the conference.
Frequently, local printing services are contracted to handle poster printing for conferences. The Posters serve as informational signage when placed throughout the venue.
The conference will take place April 16 and 17 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm each day and is limited to the first 250 registrants. Admission starts at $130 per person. More information and registration is available via the event website.
