McDaniel College will be presenting its 45th Annual Westminster Fall fest in late September.
To kick-off the event, a parade will begin on the evening of Friday, September 26 at 7:00 pm and march through Historic Downtown Westminster. The route will go along Main Street and down Pennsylvania Avenue.
On the Saturday and Sunday, close to 100 vendors will be selling their art, gifts, and crafts, while food vendors will be selling seasonal treats and nonprofit organizations will be having free games for the little ones. Local businesses will be passing out information about their goods and services.

Some other events at the fest will include a BMX Bike Show and Swap Meet, Build Your Own Scarecrow contest, dime pitch, a fun run/walk, and local talent showcased on the Main Stage.
The annual Fall Fest mile run will benefit the Westminster Family Fitness Center. Registration is now $15 as the cut-off date for early bird discount has now passed, and swag will include T-Shirts and refreshments. Awards will go to the top female and male finishers, and to the best homemade, family, and themed costumes. The run will begin at 6:55 pm at 11 Longwell Avenue, on Thursday, September 25.
