The Lockheed Martin AMTAP (Advanced Manufacturing Technician Apprenticeship Program) Information Session that will take place in Westminster, Colorado looks set to be a useful one for printing and business companies to support.
Global aerospace company Lockheed Martin has a unique Logo Design, containing its name in black block letters and two dark blue intersecting triangular lines.
The AMTAP program is nine weeks long, requires no previous experience, and trains its employment candidates to build electronics hardware. They are also trained in other necessary skills for a career in space. Those who complete the program and pass the assessment testing have a chance of being offered a full-time position with Lockheed Martin.
The program is provided by the Adams County Workforce and Business Center, which works with companies like Lockheed Martin to provide services to make for successful candidates. The Workforce and Business Center has access to various resources to businesses in order to meet the unique needs of the diverse businesses. The needs it supports include trainings such as the AMTAP program. Some of the others are job fairs, job postings, federal screening, recruiting and screening potential personnel.
The AMTAP program starts on Friday, July 12. It begins at 1:00 pm and ends at 3:00 pm and is free to attend, with registration available via Eventbrite.
