Many Westminster golfers will be turning out for the 4th Annual Captain Caps Golf Tournament coming in early August.
Individual tickets are $150, and foursomes are $600, and individual packages of mulligans (free shots) and Captain Caps hats are $25 each. Teams can also take part, with “super tickets” that include putting, poker and mulligans priced at $75.
Sponsorships are available too. Hole sponsorships are $250, while putting, long drive, hole-in-one contests, and pin flag sponsorships are $500 each. Captain Caps Hat and Golf Ball sponsorships are $1,000 apiece. Gold Sponsors are at the $1,200 level, and the Golf Cart and $100,000 Shootout sponsors are at the $1,500 level. The shirt sponsor at the $2,500 level will get their Logo Design placed on the Tailwinds of Hope golf shirts.
Check-in will begin at 6:00 am, followed by the putting contest at 7:00 am. The shotgun start will begin at 8:00 am. Lunch and the awards ceremony will be held at 1:00 pm. Drawing for several items including a 55-inch big screen TV will be at 1:30 pm. At 1:45 pm, the festivities will move to the Blue Course Hole 9 for the $100,000 Shoot Out.
Proceeds will go to Tailwinds of Hope, a foundation that provides five scholarships – one to an aviation student, three to local students attending either technical school or four-year colleges, and one to an Adams State University athlete.
