Westminster’s 43rd Annual FallFest will be ushering in the brisk days of autumn for four days in the next couple of weeks.
Festivities will begin Thursday evening at 7:00 pm with the annual parade down Pennsylvania Avenue and along Main Street. The judges’ stand will be on Longwell Avenue, and the procession will end at East Middle School.
VIP Campfire experiences will be available Thursday ($150 fee), Friday ($200), and Saturday ($150). The experiences will include three-hour sessions with firepits that seat 10, S’MORE ingredients, bottled water, four wine garden tokens, four admission tickets to the kids’ zone and live entertainment from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
A Fun Run/Walk is scheduled for Thursday beginning at 6:55 pm at the intersection of Pennsylvania and Hersh Avenue. Prizes will go to top youth and adult male and female finishers.
Carnival rides will be available Thursday, Friday evenings, 10 am to 10 pm on Saturday and noon until 6:00 pm on Sunday. A Kids Zone will offer activities such as pedal tractors, lumberjack games, corn crib and mini golf. A petting zoo will be on Saturday and Sunday, and hayrides will be available on the weekend.
Over 80 vendors and local businesses will be selling items and passing out Business Cards detailing their goods, services, locations, and hours of operations.
Westminster Fallfest will take place November 22nd through the 25th in downtown Westminster.
