Loveland will soon be the place to “bee” when it plays host to an event that celebrates these industrious insects and the honey they produce.
The community's Honey Festival will put area apiaries front and center, and there will be lots of sweet treats to explore. Sweetheart City Racing will be holding its Honeybee Hustle Run, and there will be lots of other fun as well.
The event will see a variety of local honey producers setting up a sales booth, and the adults in the crowd can sample mead, which is a honey based fermented beverage. Area vendors that sell beeswax and bee themed products have also been invited to participate. An observation beehive will give a sneak peek into the life of a hive, and the younger guests can enjoy spending time in the Busy Bee Kid Zone.
To help make the event a success, the organizers have reached out to the city’s business community seeking sponsors as well as vendors and food truck operators. Mobile eateries that want to look their best for a function can order vehicle wraps and supportive promo materials from a printing services company.
The 2025 Loveland Honey Festival will bring some late summer sweetness to the city on September 7th. It is expected to draw a crowd that numbers in the thousands, and sponsorship and vendor application, as well as other details, are available on its website.
