Celebration of Irish culture comes to Loveland

An upcoming event in Loveland will bring Irish culture to Colorado just in time for Christmas.

“A Taste of Ireland—A Celtic Christmas” is a seasonal show developed by “A Taste of Ireland,” which has run in the West End in London and Off-Broadway. Audiences who fell in love Irish performers via “Riverdance” won’t be surprised to hear that performers from both “Riverdance” and “Lord of the Dance” are part of this troupe, along with World Irish dance champions.

The show features ballads, traditional tunes, Irish wit, and popular holiday carols and of course, Irish dance. The show promises a capella tap-dancing battles, folk music mash-ups, and unforgettable performances by gifted storytellers.

“A Celtic Christmas” has more than 400,000 followers on social media and has received rave reviews from audiences throughout the country. One review says:

“This vibrant holiday performance wove together the magic of a snowy Christmas in Ireland with a heartwarming tale of fate and festive spirit, culminating in the union of two destined lovers.”

The parent show, “A Taste of Ireland,” features the same approach: Irish dancing, the popular a capella tap battles, and modern versions of traditional songs such as “Danny Boy,” “Wild Rover,” and other lesser-known songs.

A Taste of Ireland—A Celtic Christmas will take place November 20 at the Rialto Theater Center. When they book shows like this, organizers can use poster printing to create colorful advertisements for them.
