Colorado is home to some intricate ecosystems, and while many may be familiar with its more common plants and animals, they may not be as well acquainted with those that will be the stars of a Loveland presentation.
The Wildlife Window Nature talks give insight into the state's wild spaces and the species that call it home, and its August installment will introduce three of them to its audience. It is being offered thanks to support from the Friends of the Loveland Public Library.
Kevin Cook, who will be the presenter for the hour-long activity will discuss two birds native to the state, as well as a yodeling mouse, a rodent shares characteristics with both a kangaroo and a frog. It is part of the larger 2026 Series: Creatures You Never Knew Live in Colorado list of activities, and anyone with questions can contact the library’s Adult Services Desk.
A presentation or workshop may provide everything from an introduction to a deep-dive exploration of the topic at hand. Visual materials, including large Copies of photos, diagrams and maps, can be crafted for a function by poster printing companies.
The Loveland Public Library will give the state's lesser-known wildlife some time in the spotlight on Wednesday, August 5. It will start at 10:15 am.
