October is a time for harvests and spooky Halloween fun, and a Loveland celebration will combine these in a day filled with family fun.
The community's Downtown will be welcoming one and all for its 6th annual Downtown Pumpkin Festival, and it will celebrate all things pumpkin. Admission will be free, and there are various activities available on an a la carte basis.
The planners of the day have scheduled everything from a pumpkin carving workshop to a costume contest. Music spun by a DJ will be playing, and anyone who is interested can purchase a ticket for a session where they will be paired up with an area artist to help decorate their gourd. Food will be on offer, and farmers market stands will be set up. Everyone can try their luck at guessing the weight of the giant pumpkin that will be on display, and they can also watch the live sculpture build.
