Loveland festival offers summer fun

Eating corn fresh from the field is one of the joys of summer for many, and for the past 129 years a Loveland festival has offered this experience to locals and visitors alike.

The 129th annual Corn Roast festival is being presented by the community's Chamber of Commerce. In previous years, it has attracted tens of thousands of visitors, and its organizers are counting on this year being just as successful.

Festival goers will be treated to live music provided by local performers, and there will be a variety of vendor booths to visit. Those interested can put their skills to the test in a corn shucking competition, and the Corn Roast Parade will add even more fun to the celebration. A cornhole tournament is in the works, and the festivities will pay homage to Loveland’s past, present and future. It will run for two days in late August, and everyone in the community is encouraged to get involved.

Summer festivals often take place outdoors so they can take advantage of the pleasant weather. A banner printing company can prepare a variety of decor that can withstand being exposed to the elements.

The 2025 Loveland Corn Roast festival will bring the fun to the city on August 22nd and 23rd. More information about the venues and timings for the general public will be added to its website as they become available.
