Thanksgiving will soon be here, and Loveland residents who plan on celebrating with a turkey fresh from the farm are encouraged to place their orders now.
Pasture- raised turkeys are on offer to Loveland residents, and they will be made available for pickup at Long Shadow Farm Berthound. A deposit of $20.00 is required to secure a bird, and both heritage bred toms and hens will be in the mix.
Those who place an order will be able to pick their turkey on the date that has been set, Anyone who will be making a long drive may want to bring a cooler and ice for the ride home, and while alternative arrangements may be made for pick up on a different days, this will need to be organized ahead of time. The tickets are non-refundable, and will be used towards the final price of the bird.
The organizers of the activity are hoping that there will be community members willing to volunteer to help out. Print shops can craft special Promotional Products to distribute to anyone who lends a hand with an event.
