The Longmont Art Center will host a summer event series beginning this July.
The event is called the Artwalk: Summer on the Streets and is an initiative by the Longmont Public Media and Outdoor Cinema. A weekly occasion offering art, music, movies and food, Summer on the Streets aims to be the event of the season.
There will be displays, alongside a number of art vendors present at this family-friendly event. Families can look forward to children's art activities, musical performances and snack favorites such as kettlecorn for sale.
The event's movies start at dusk, and each evening will feature a different title. There will be classics from among a range of genres. These include Selena, School of Rock, and Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Musicals and live performances are also a part of the affair's line-up.
The event is free to attend, and patrons may enter the event at their leisure. Those who would like to participate as volunteers or as sponsors must contact the organizers. Further information on how to do so is available on their website. There is also a full list of the featured art vendors given.
Poster printing can be an innovative way to advertise the event's movies.
This event kicks off on Saturday, July 9 at the Longmont Public Library. This is located at 409 4th Ave, Longmont, Colorado 80501. It begins at 5:00 pm and ends at 11:15 pm.
