Longmont will be bidding summer farewell with an event that will put pizza front and center.
The Colorado Pizza Festival will be taking over the city’s downtown at 4th and Kimbark, and while the public enjoys the party, they will be helping address food insecurity in the local area. Pizza experts will be coming in from across the state to show off their favorite recipe, and there will be fun for the whole family.
While the attendees enjoy sampling the slices that catch their interest, they will be treated to live entertainment from a variety of bands and other performers. Amateur pizza chefs can put their creation to the test in one of the friendly competitions, and there will be special fun in the mix just for the kids. Admission will be free for those aged 12 and under.
Along with the rest of the activities, the adults in the crowd will be invited to sit back and relax with a locally made craft beer, wine or cocktail.
