Longmont gardeners will be able to start the season a little bit early thanks to an event planned for their home community.
Longmont Library will be helping gardeners to hit the ground running when it welcomes them for its Gardening Fair and Free Seed Library activities, and it will take place in the afternoon. It will be delivered in English, and no registration is needed.
Those who would like to drop by and check the event out for themselves will find it set up in the venue’s meeting rooms, and it will run for three hours. It will be a time for local green thumbs and brown thumbs alike to meet and share tips for success. They can browse through displays set up by horticultural businesses, and there will also be gardening experts on hand to answer questions . They can learn about the Seed Library program, which allows the public to take up to six free packets of seed.
Gardening is an eco-friendly practice that may also be a lot of fun, and a fair or other event provides those who are interested with the chance to learn more. Businesses that take part may order themed Promotional Products to hand out.
Longmont residents who would like to get the dirt on gardening are invited to stop by the Library for this event, which will be held on February 22nd. The seed library will be open the next day, for as long as supplies last.
