Longmont releases schedule for holiday festival

The Longmont Lights Festival is set to bring festive fun to the city, and its agenda offers activities for all ages.

This annual gathering brings neighbors together for an evening of fun that will soon be back for this year. A sign-up system for visits with Santa will be on offer, will be new for this year, and there will be lots of other fun to be had.

Parents who would like to register their child can do so at the Longmont Senior Center starting at 4:30 pm on its scheduled date, and this is mandatory. This will help to eliminate long wait times, and spaces are expected to fill quickly.

As well as the visits with Santa, the public can drop by the Children’s Entrepreneur Market, which will also be on offer at the Senior Center, and Home Depot's Santa’s workshop will be set up at 700 Longs Peak Avenue. The Longmont Ice Pavilion will be hosting skating, and Roosevelt Park will offer firepits, hot chocolate carts and other ways to warm up.

Many communities celebrate the winter holiday season by organizing special gatherings. A brochure printing company can prepare schedules to mail to local households so they can make their plans accordingly.

The Longmont Lights Holiday Festival will kick off with this night of fun set for December 12th. Its website provides details about all the timings and locations as well as other activities in the works for the season.
