Sunflower Farm is proud to call Longmont home, and it has organized an activity that will offer a helping hand to its neighbors in need.
The venue, which has been designated an Educational Demonstration Farm, offers a variety of activities, and its Farmfest program gives families the chance to learn about agriculture and the environment. Its fundraiser for Longmont Food Rescue will take place in June, and admission will be $18.00 each.
The families that take part will be able to enjoy all of the usual fun of Farmrfest, and half of the proceeds from the day will be donated to the food rescue. The farm animals will be waiting to meet some new friends, and they include peacocks, chickens, giants, lambs and guinea fowl. The venue's airplane and other play areas will be open, and while some juices, water and popsicles will be available, no food will be served or made available for purchase.
When organizing a fundraiser, one of the goals is usually to leave as much of the money raised left over for the cause as possible. A banner printing company can help by offering many types of materials at various price points.
The crew at Sunflower Farm will be helping to tackle local food insecurity with its Farmfest Fundraiser for Longmont Food Rescue, which is set for next Sunday, June 7th. Tickets can be purchased in advance by visiting its website.
