Longmont prepares pressed flower collages

The art of pressing flowers has been used for centuries to preserve the beauty of garden and wild plants, and a Longmont venue will bring this practice into the 21st century.

Sunflower Farm Acres will be providing the public with a chance to craft a piece of home decor they can be proud to display, and it will start with a visit to the venue’s flower fields.

When they arrive for the workshop, attendees can start their experience with a tour of the farm so they can meet its animals and choose any natural elements they would like to incorporate into their finished piece. The materials for the pressed flower collage will be supplied, and there will be light refreshments served. Anyone who would like to bring their own drinks can do so, and the registration fee for the activity is $85.00 each.

Farms and other agricultural operations that open themselves to the public may require an assortment of signage, both to keep an event organized and also for the safety of the visitors. A poster printing company can supply a range of options for this to suit all kinds of budget.

Sunflower Farm Acres will provide this introduction to the joys of working with pressed flowers on Tuesday, September 15, starting at 5:30 pm. It is located at 1150 Prospect Road.
