Runners in the Longmont area will want to dust off their running shoes and find green clothing, as a St. Patrick’s Day running event is coming to town.
The Shamrock 7K Fun Run has an official start date to add to the calendar, with registration open for runners in the area interested in participating next month. The run will cover around 7 kilometers and will begin and end in the same location for convenience.
Participants are welcome to run, jog, or run the course at their own pace, and each finisher will be greeted at the finish line with a free local craft beer to enjoy and feel refreshed with. All registered runners and walkers are encouraged to dress in St. Paddy’s Day green for the opportunity to win additional prizes. Banner printing is a memorable way to welcome participants to the finish line while promoting local businesses and sponsors at such events.
Interested parties can register to start at 10:00 or 10:30 AM and are encouraged to arrive early to stretch and prepare for the course. Live music, food trucks, and local vendors will attend at the host venue.
Wibby Brewing will host the fun run on the morning of Sunday, March 10th, with the first wave starting at 10:00 AM. Registration is open online, starting at $41 per runner.
