Longmont Museum will continue to explore the city's past with its Longmont 150 exhibit next month. The event explores the history of the city and celebrates its 150th anniversary since it was founded.
The exhibit explores stories related to the city, including details on its origins as an innovative place for telecommunications and other tales. Guests can also catch artifacts of the city’s past, like the first flag flown in Longmont. Children attending can also enjoy some of the event's rides and activities, like a model train that will go through some of the city’s old industries.
Visitors will also discover aspects of Longmont's modern history as the exhibit will showcase some of the individuals that impact the city today. These include artists and scientists that continue to influence the city today. These exhibits are often supported with the help of brochure printing, so guests can expect more details while at the museum.
The exhibit will run through December and will end in early January, on the 9th. Admission to the event is $8 for adults, $5 for students and seniors, and free for children ages three and under. Also, anyone who is a member of the museum can enter free of charge. Longmont Museum is located at 400 Quail Road.
