A three-part tribute act is to be held in Longmont this August.
‘Pink Talking Fish’ will honor the work of a trio of bands that occupied the artistic and musical minds of the ‘60s, ‘70s. and ‘80s – Pink Floyd, Talking Heads and Phish. The performers hope to meld the classic hits and fan favorites from all three iconic groups to create a memorable performance.
Pink Talking Fish was formed by avid fans of all three groups, who were able to find transitional connections in the sounds of three bands that were prominent across three different decades. The setlist for the evening will include tracks like Pink Floyd’s ‘On the Run’, Talking Heads’ ‘Slippery People’, and Phish’s ‘Sand’.
The band members are Eric Gould, Richard James, Zack Burwick and Cal Kehoe. They play the bass, keyboards, drums, and guitar respectively.
The cost for tickets will range from $25 to $35, now that an early bird offer of $18 has passed. The $35 option guarantees entrants a seat, although not necessarily together if they book in groups. These are available for sale on the event’s listing on Eventgroove. Graphic design may be helpful to create intricate designs to engage patrons at events such as this one.
This event takes place on Friday, August 25 at Wibby Brewing, which is at 209 Emory Street, Longmont, Colorado. It begins at 6:00 pm.
