A 5K run/walk race event will be held in Longmont next month.
The event, which is officially titled the CollaBEERation 5K Race and Brew Fest Party, is in its 4th year. It seeks to celebrate the local community with each occasion.
Patrons can look forward to a fun 5K run and walk along a scenic route, followed by an expo of locally crafted beers and cider. Along with these, there will be food, music, and giveaways open to all guests.
Each entry fee gives participants access to race bibs, race stickers, an exclusive run hat, a sponsored swag bag, and entry to all the after-race events and all activities. This also gives them entry to raffle giveaways, and beer discounts from a local brewery during race week.
The cost for entry will depend on the preferred running group. For the general and elite group, the cost is $50, while youths will be $37. For spectators only, the cost is $35. Those attending virtually will also pay a fee of $50. June 15 is the cutoff date for virtual registration, and other tickets will see price increases after this date. Registration options are available on the event's website, or through participating local breweries.
