Longmont hosts childrens event

The city of Longmont, Colorado will host a set of children’s events this November.

The name of the occasion is ‘Discovery Days’, and it gives children, their parents, and their caregivers the opportunity to spend time together productively. The program will feature two classes each with engaging, hands-on, and educational activities. These include art, music, and movement activities.

The events are meant to develop motor-skills, language development, attention, concentration, and emotional regulation. They will also target children’s play and social abilities. The event is open to children between the ages of two and six years old. Each child must be accompanied by an adult.

The program takes place as a series that ends in December. Music and movement classes take place on Tuesdays, while Discovery Days Art classes take place on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. The program operates under the premise of preparing children for the school environment, and equipping them with the skills and tools necessary for success.

The cost for entry to this event will be $4 for each child who enters as a member, while non-member children will be $4.50.

Graphic design can be a great way to curate content for interactive material at events like this.

The next Discovery Days event takes place on November 18 at the Museum in Classrooms C and AB. The museum is located at 400 Quail Road, Longmont, Colorado.
