An award ceremony is being planned in Longmont to highlight companies and community members working toward a sustainable future in Colorado’s Front Range.
The 2024 Longmont Sustainability Awards and Fundraising Gala is ready to begin next month. The event aims to raise funds to invest in a more sustainable future for the community and state. Community and climate change leaders will be given awards and recognition for their efforts to create a cleaner and healthier community for all.
The 2024 version of the event will focus on sustainable agriculture and feature Mark and Kena Ollin of Ollin Farms as the ceremony’s keynote speakers. Live music will accompany the awards to keep the positive energy going for attendees. A silent auction will allow visitors to take rare and valuable items home. Banner printing offers an effective way to welcome guests while building brand awareness for event sponsors.
Each ticket includes a meal, one adult beverage, the awards program, and live musical performances. Farms Eat Direct, a local farm 10 miles outside of town, will provide the food options. The proceeds from the gala will support and promote a sustainable future for Longmont.
The Residence Inn Boulder Longmont will host the awards ceremony and gala on Saturday, November 2. Guests are welcome to arrive at 5:00 PM. Interested parties can support the fundraiser by purchasing tickets online for $45 per guest.
