A festive 5K run is in the works for Longmont runners and residents seeking a fun outdoor activity during the holiday season.
The Ugly Sweater 5K Run is set to welcome interested runners, walkers, and joggers next month, pairing with a local brewery to provide a memorable experience. Attendees are welcome to run, jog, or walk at their own pace, and the running event will be held for fun rather than competition.
Upon crossing the finish line, participants will receive a complimentary craft beer from the partnering local brewery. Each registered guest will also receive an event bib, holiday ornament, and the opportunity to win several door prizes.
Live music and entertainment will await participants at the after-party, along with food and beverages from local vendors. Promotional Products are a fantastic way for vendors to build goodwill and visibility with attendees at such events.
The 5K will raise money for a good cause. Over $140,000 has been donated to Colorado non-profits since 2016. The run will be held on an open course, and attendees are asked to check the weather and dress for comfort. Dogs and strollers are welcome on the course.
