What's Happening in Longmont, CO…

Halloween festivities on the way for Longmont

A touch of fall is in the air in Longmont, and a special Halloween activity is on the way.

The community will welcome the return of its Spooky Village celebration, which will be free for all. It will include a salute to its small business side.

The afternoon will include hayrides, and everyone can spend some time at the crafting stations. The kids can visit the pumpkin painting area, and a face painter and balloon twisters will delight the crowd. Halloween treat bags will be handed out for as long as supplies last, and costumed characters, mini golf, live entertainment, rides on a "goblin train,” stilt walkers, and carnival-style games are also all on the agenda. Along with all this, the merchants at Village at the Peaks will welcome trick-or-treaters.

As an additional activity for the day, Chuck and Don’s will be running a Pet Parade. A professional photographer will be on hand to catch shots of all the animals.

Seasonal gatherings often bring neighbors together in a spirit of fun and may help build strong and connected communities. A banner printing company will be happy to craft custom decor for a special occasion.

Longmont's Spooky village will bring thrills and chills to the city on Saturday, October 25. It will begin at 1:00 pm, and more details about the location for the various activities are available on the city's website.
