In celebration of Hispanic Heritage month, the Vallejo Naval and Historical Museum on Marin Street will be hosting an exhibit honoring Latino and Hispanic art, culture, heritage, and traditions in the city. The exhibit will focus on the many contributions made by the Latinos and Hispanics who live in the community.
Exhibits such as this one are often promoted with Posters placed in key locations throughout the community. Museums that organize such exhibits may want to use the services of local Print shops specializing in poster printing.
Among the many sponsors of the exhibit are Pacific Oaks College, First 5 Solano, Solano Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and Monarch Engineers.
The mission of the Vallejo Naval and Historical Museum is to exhibit and preserve the diverse past of the city and what was once the United States Naval Shipyard at Mare Island. It is located in the historic Old City Hall and features five galleries spanning 25,000 square feet, specifically covering United States and community history. The galleries include traveling exhibitions, collections from private local individuals in the community, selections from the permanent collections of the Museum, and artifacts borrowed from the collection at Mare Island.
The exhibit will run from Saturday, September 3 through Saturday, October 15. There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony and an opening reception this Saturday from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.Get a Free Quote for Posters Get a Free Quote for Print
