Afternoon of music to come to Vallejo

Decked Out at The Quarters will be hosted by the Mare Island Co. and be held in Vallejo next month.

This will be an afternoon of food and drink, live music, art, and more on Officer’s Row on Walnut Avenue at historic Mare Island. This event brings together the talented and unique acts of the Bay Area for a one-day music extravaganza. There will be over 20 bands featuring music from rock to rhythm and blues, folk, and jazz.

Taking place across six stages, among the artists at the afternoon of music will be the United States Air Force Band of The Golden West, Jacob Benning, Dave and the Detonators, Blue Static, and Chris Cole.

Attendees will be able to meet the local artists. There will also be face painters, and cuisine from food vendors in the area, as well as cold beverages and other refreshments. People are encouraged to bring their family, friends, and well-behaved pets as the event is about celebrating the community through music and coming together. Such events can benefit from poster printing to help promote them throughout a city and neighboring communities.

The Napa County Bicycle Coalition will be providing a secure corral for bike parking. Attendees should bring lawn blankets and small lawn chairs.

This event will be from 11:30 am to 4:00 pm on Sunday, April 26.
