Chamber music concert to be performed in Vallejo area

The Benicia Chamber Players will be presenting a concert titled “For the End of Time” in the Vallejo area this weekend.

This concert will feature Quartet for the End of Time by Olivier Messiaen. This was composed during Messiaen’s time in a wartime prison camp. It explores endurance, time, and transcendence through its unique harmonies and rhythms.

The Artistic Director will present a guided exploration of the quartet during the first half of the concert, and highlight the key movements and themes to guide the listening experience. The second half of the concert will be a full performance of this work. Afterwards there will be a reception to celebrate the end of the concert season with fellow concertgoers and the musicians.

High-quality poster printing is a powerful tool for promoting such concerts throughout a region. Well-designed Posters can effectively build awareness, create excitement, and successfully draw in more attendees from surrounding areas.

Performers in the quartet are Keisuke Nakagoshi, piano; Brady Anderson, cello; Rebecca Tobin Krissman, clarinet; and Alicia Choi, violin. The Benicia Chamber Players were founded in 2006. Their mission is to provide a series of classical chamber music concerts to underserved areas, including Vallejo, Pleasanton, and Benicia.

The concert will be at the Benicia Community Congregational Church this Sunday, May 3 at 3:00 pm.
