The new city manager for Vallejo will be Andrew Murray.
Murray was formerly the city manager in Pinole and most recently was the interim public works director for the City of Berkeley. He is the replacement for Beverli Marshall, who was interim city manager and took on the role after Michael Malone retired in April.
When people take on such positions, there is typically a need for business card printing services.
Murray has worked in government for almost 20 years. He previously served as an assistant city manager in Pleasant Hill and assistant to the city administrator in Oakland. Prior to these roles, he worked for the City and County of San Francisco for seven years and has also held senior positions at the Office of the President at the University of California and the Institute for Social Research at the University of Michigan.
Open Vallejo has reported that Murray is drawn to the natural beauty, cultural diversity, and history of the city. He is looking forward to engaging with the community and taking on its many challenges working with the staff of the city, stakeholders, and residents. He also brings great deal of experience to the position.
Murray, pending a final vote of approval by the Vallejo City Council, is scheduled to begin his new position next Monday, May 20.
