Two comedians known for their hosting duties on a popular podcast are coming to San Diego.
Concrete and Jerry Garcia (not that Jerry Garcia), along with DoKnow, host the Perritos Only Podcast. Each episode comprises a conversation about everything from current events to parenting to surviving tours. Garcia and Concrete are now coming to San Diego to share their differing styles of comedy.
Jerry Garcia is based in Huntington Park, California, and much of his comedy is based on his status as a father of three sons. His material has a young, Latin flair that brings audiences into his life, and his punchlines, witty puns, and anecdotes about his experiences have given him an appeal that extends to audiences of all kinds, especially as he shares struggles common to everyone.
Concrete (Cristian Gutierrez) was raised in the San Fernando Valley, a background that shaped his approach to his career. He first came to notice as a hip-hop artist, with tracks like “We Can Make It Rain” attracting national attention. He’s also a film director and actor and will be seen on the big screen soon in the film “Clika,” a Sony Pictures release.
Jerry Garcia and Concrete will be at the Balboa Theatre in downtown San Diego on November 21. When they book performers like this, organizers can help benefit the show by using poster printing to create advertising for the event.
