San Diego plans pumpkin planting party

A San Diego area garden club has decided to host a fall celebration that will incorporate the spooky side of the season, and everyone from babies to the senior set will find plenty to enjoy.

The Mission Hills Garden Club will be planting pumpkins, and the project requires the assistance of many helping hands to be a success. The participation fee starts at $15, and both club members and nonmembers alike are encouraged to roll up their sleeves and get involved.

All of the supplies needed for the activity will be provided to the registrants, and everyone will be able to add their own personal touch to their planter. The attendees will work in pairs, and will take home a new piece decor to display at their front door. Children will need to have an adult participate with them in this workshop, and refreshments will be served.

An activity like this offers a fun way for kids and parents or grandparents to spend some time together, and a flyer printing company will be able to make sure as many people as possible know where and when it will take place. It can prepare an assortment of inexpensive marketing materials, as well as a full range of other printed items.

This fall project has been scheduled for October 24. It will be welcoming registrants at the Mission Hills nursery at 3:00 pm.
