Metal to collide in San Diego

A quartet of heavy metal bands will be in San Diego soon to delight their fans.

Sepultura, Crowbar, Sacred Reich, and Art of Shock will appear at the House of Blues. Sepultura is a heavy metal band from Brazil who first got together in 1984. Influential in the death metal, thrash metal, and groove metal genres, they have been credited with renewed interest in thrash metal in the 1990s. A review says:

“Sepultura rocked it! We were amazed at the sound and how tight they were, especially the drummer was right there for every transition and tempo change, awesome. . . . Best show I have seen in a long time!!”

Sludge metal band Crowbar got started in 1989 in New Orleans, and have built a career with blistering live performances. Their second album, “Crowbar,” brought them to the notice of Pantera, with whom they toured.

A review says:

“As always..crowbar never disappoints! If you like having your face ripped off by sludge metal gods you'll LOVE Crowbar!!!”

A fan of Sacred Reich says:

“These guys are the best. My favorite metal band since the '80s, and this show did not disappoint.”

Art of Shock also received praise:

“Art of Shock knows how to mix metal guitar riffs with hard rock drums and strong vocals.”

The bands will be at the House of Blues on April 7, at 7:00 pm. Flyer printing can be used to advertise performances such as this.
